Dubrovnik Triathlon 2019 Countdown

Dubrovnik is slowly winding down from the major crowdy tourist season. However, the shoulder season weather is ideal and many events still happening all the way till Christmas and New Year Celebration. One of the newest events in October started its countdown for the Dubrovnik Triathlon 2019 event.

THE 2019 DUBROVNIK TRIATHLON START COUNTDOWN

Most participants will come one day earlier for the full 2-3 day programme. The countdown below shows time to the second day actual Triathlon official races start time at 14:00. October is the perfect time of the year in Dubrovnik for weekend holidays. Children started attending school leaving more space for couples and individual travellers. Warm but not hot weather, less crowds and of course our 2019 Dubrovnik Triathlon on October 12th, 2019. Only a few weeks left until the event starts.

This year, we will have three distances. Super Sprint distance, Sprint and Olympic distance. The swim start position has been changed to be more comfortable for the triathletes. The swim out and into T1 remains the same as last year. We have improved the run course, less laps to count and a more interesting run experience. The bike course remains the same, flat and fast.

  • 08:00 – 09:00 Swim, coffee, donuts @ Banje Beach
  • 17:00 – 19:00 Registrations @ Dubrovnik Port
  • 19:30 – 21:30 Welcome Party @ Lazareti

 

Saturday (Day 2)

  • 11:00 – 13:00 Registrations @ Dubrovnik Port
  • 13:00 – 14:00 Bike check ins & Briefings @ Dubrovnik Port
  • 14:00 – 14:10 Olympic, Sprint, Super Sprint Start
  • 19:30 – 22:30 After Race Party @ Banje Beach Club

 

Sunday

  • 10:00 – 12:00 Boat Cruise @ Dubrovnik Port
