All athletes must register in person at the event to collect their race packs.
Nothing gets sent out in the post! In order to register you will need:
– Photo Identification (passport, ID or driving license)
You MUST attend registration yourself in order to race.
Under NO circumstance will we give your information to another person even with authorization.
The Welcome Party will be held the day before race day- included for the triathletes and at extra charge for the partners/non-entrants.
The Welcome Fun Swim is Saturday morning at the Banje Beach with coffee and donuts – included for triathletes only and at extra charge for partners/non-entrants.
No, the athlete racing MUST register and rack their own bike/bags.
Photo ID will be requested for registration.
Racking must be done on the day of the race.
No, the athlete racing must collect these personally.
Race numbers will be checked upon entry and items will be checked against your race numbers when leaving.
Race equipment can be placed only next to the bike.
The helmet can be placed on your bike if it is attached to the handlebars.
Anything left will be removed.
NB: Cycle shoes can be on the bike as long as they are attached to the pedals. Nutrition and bike computers can also be left on the bikes as long as attached. We are not responsible for the items.
Your After Race Bag: your bag for your dry clothing that you require after the race. The bags will be in the athletes finish area and available to collect as soon as you finish the race. You hand your bag in, on race day, with your number on it.
When you come to rack, your bike, helmet, and bags must have your race numbers securely applied to them. You must have your helmet on with the strap fastened and you must be wearing your race number.
During the Race you must have your helmet fastened before removing your bike from the rack and keep it fastened until you have placed your bike back on the rack after having finished the course.
The swim is a mass start in waves depending on your race distance.
Prior swim practice will not be possible for two reasons. First, the swim race segment will be held in controlled conditions. The second reason is that swimming will be allowed in the swim race segment only on the race day from 10:00 – 11:00 since this area of race course is within the Port of Dubrovnik, where swimming is not usually allowed.
Short warm up next to the swim course will be possible, after the mandatory race briefing.
Wetsuits are allowed and are optional up to the water being 22 Celsius. If water is above 22C then wetsuits are not allowed.
Additions such as hats, booties, and gloves are not allowed. You will be given a coloured race swim cap which has to be worn during the race.
If you feel the need, please turn on your back and raise an arm in the air to attract attention from the swim safety crew.
You are allowed to grab the boat/paddle board of the safety crew, but moving forward while doing this, will result in a DQ.

The this is a multi-lap, flat, spectator-friendly race course. Due to the design of race course, you’ll be able to support triathletes from the start, through transitions, all the way to the finish line.
No. Any athlete who crosses the finish line with a spectator will be disqualified.
It is a safety risk to the athlete, the spectators, other athletes, and staff to have non-competitors running down the finish line. It may also hinder other athletes achieving their personal goals or have their treasured finish line photo obstructed by spectators on the finish line.
