Sprint Distance Triathlon in Dubrovnik
Sprint distance at the Earth, Sea & Fire – Dubrovnik Triathlon. Triathlons today come in different sizes, the most known short distance among them is the Sprint Triathlon Distance. Sprint triathlons can vary in sizes . But, as a triathlon general rule they include a 750 m. swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run.
This is the ideal entrance race and event into the sport of triathlon. Sprint distances have a lot to offer to both new triathletes as well as experienced ones.
THE DUBROVNIK SPRINT DISTANCE TRIATHLON
It is a fast race, you do keep your foot on the gas all the time. But, it is not short as it is named a “short distance” – still you do have a lot of swimming biking and running to do! Do not burn up! Pace carefully the swim, the bike, and the run. Finish strong!
If you are looking for a good result you need a lot of speedwork and endurance combined with intervals in your Sprint Triathlon training. Looking at this all, we think it is the triathlon’s best distance.
Earth, Sea & Fire – Dubrovnik Triathlon offers all interested triathletes a Sprint Triathlon as well on October 12th, 2019. The swim will be in the Port of Dubrovnik with a start from the water. Swimsuits allowed if the water is under 22C.
After swimming one lap 750 meters, triathletes will exit the water. After that, go to the close by transition area taking their bikes. With the bikes ride two laps 10 km each flat and fast.
After biking 20 km triathletes will do a two lap 5 km run finishing their race in the Earth, Sea & Fire spectator noisy Finish Zone! Grab your well deserved unique custom made designed Earth, Sea and Fire – Dubrovnik Triathlon medal and get ready for the After Race Party at Banje Beach!
