Full road closure during inaugural Dubrovnik triathlon
EARTH, SEA & FIRE triathlon race course takes place on fully closed roads. The full road closure will enable EARTH, SEA & FIRE to run smoothly, ensuring maximum safety to competing triathletes and relaxed atmosphere for all the spectators.
CALM AND FLAT SPEED ARENA
EARTH, SEA & FIRE race course is set in Gruž, a historical and naturally wind-safe Dubrovnik’s port. This is a flat multi-lap course, running on the calm and clear sea and super-fast, smooth, flat bike and run routes. Add pleasant sea and air temperatures, and you’ll see why our race course caters for every ability.
On one hand, it makes a perfect speed arena for experienced triathletes chasing standard-distance PB or other records. On the other hand, it offers a great opportunity for triathlon first-timers, who can race shoulder to shoulder with the best competitors.
FULL ROAD CLOSURE FOR SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT
Full road closure means not only a total safety for competitors but a chance for a totally immersive race experience. Experienced triathletes can focus 100% on achieving their PBs. As for the beginners, they don’t have to worry at all about incoming cars or tracks, but only about enjoying and finishing their first triathlon ever.
During the race, no sea vessels or cars will encroach upon the race course.
As to the spectators, they will have a clear view of their favorites, all along the race course, down to the finish line.
