“I am Haree Hajas, a triathlon addict race announcer. I have worked at 2 Olympic Games and 300+ triathlon events on 4 continents, including World & European Championships. As a former athlete, I have high respect for all triathletes, no matter if young or old, fast or slow, professional or age-group: they work hard to achieve their goals coming race day, no matter if for the victory, a PB or something else. As a triathlete, you get to know many countries & cultures, and meeting athletes from all around the world makes you a richer person. I’m absolutely delighted to be the official MC & race announcer of EARTH, SEA & FIRE – DUBROVNIK TRIATHLON a fantastic race with great potential in one of my favorite cities. Grown up in Germany and having lived in Hungary, Qatar, Australia & Greece working for different sport organisations and multiple sporting events, Haree collected a great amount of experience in the field of sport presentation.
Triathlon working experience in more than 20 different countries: Austria, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Liechtenstein, Greece, Slovakia, Romania, Ireland, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Croatia, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey, Israel, Australia, Mexico, USA.
Biggest events in his bio: 2010 ITU Grand Final Budapest, 2 ITU Multisport World Championships & ETU Multisport European Championships, 50+ ITU World Cup, Multisport World & Continental Championship events. Recently he was working as Sport presentation manager at the 2021 edition of the Collins Cup in Samorin, SVK and appointed as lead MC of the WT Multisport World Championships in Targu Mures (ROU).
Besides races organised by ITU / World Triathlon, he also worked / works for middle distance / long distance / non drafting events, such as Challenge Rimini / Riccione, Challenge Lisbon, Challenge Samorin, Challenge San Remo & Ironman Pescara.
